For professionals
Heathwell is a local psychotherapy practice based in Blackheath Village. Therapists at Heathwell work independently and are responsible for their own clinical practice.
We are committed to creating an ethical, supportive, and sustainable environment for experienced practitioners. Many of the therapists who work with us have extensive experience within the NHS, public services, charities, and other clinical settings. Heathwell provides a trusted space where they can continue to develop their private practice whilst maintaining their independence.
Our therapists typically see a combination of their own clients and clients referred through Heathwell. There are no ongoing room rental costs, fixed commitments, or membership fees, with all payments made on an ad hoc basis. Our approach is built on trust, professional respect, fairness, and a commitment to high-quality clinical work.
If you are a local therapist looking to start or expand your private practice, we occasionally have space within our clinic. You are welcome to get in touch if this is something you would like to explore.
We consider enquiries from therapists who:
• Are fully qualified
• Have at least three years of post-qualification clinical experience
• Are registered with a recognised professional body
• Have their own clinical supervision in place
• Share our values and ethos
For online-only work, we only consider therapists with a clearly defined and established specialist area. At present, this applies particularly to work around ADHD, autism, neurodiversity, neurodiverse relationships, and infidelity.
We review enquiries carefully and respond where there appears to be a good fit.
Heathwell is open to working with local organisations who are interested in partnering with us around mental health and wellbeing. This may include community organisations, charities, schools, employers, or other local services.
We are open to conversations around collaborative work, training, workshops, mental health support for staff or service users, and other forms of partnership that align with our clinical expertise and values.
If your organisation is interested in exploring how we might work together, you are welcome to get in touch.
